INFORMED CONSENT — Spiritual consultation & treatments (including purification washing)
By His Majesty Ta'a Nkounga Zeugoua Danleu, Servant of the Divine – Bearer of the Seat – Restorer of destinies.
1. Nature of the consultation. Not a show, not magic, not fortune-telling for curiosity. It is above all a dialogue with God and the Ancestors, a spiritual discernment, a search for deep understanding. His Majesty asks God and the Ancestors inwardly, listens to what is shown, identifies what belongs to the spiritual, the family/ancestral line, the psychological, the social, explains what comes out, and if necessary proposes paths of prayer, life adjustments, or suitable spiritual treatments.
2. Types of support offered. 2.1 Listening, guidance and orientation. 2.2 Prayer and blessing (protection, restoration, inner peace). 2.3 Simple symbolic acts (guided prayers at home; fasting, praise, reconciliation). 2.4 Work of liberation / realignment. 2.5 Specific rituals, including purification washing — only if God and the Ancestors request it, only if the person fully understands and accepts, never imposed. Washing is only one treatment among others; not proposed to everyone, never out of habit.
3. Spiritual functioning: nothing is automatic. For each person, His Majesty first asks inwardly: 3.1 "Should I receive this person?" (NO → not received; YES → consultation may take place). 3.2 "Is a donation required?" (NO → without donation; YES → God and the Ancestors indicate the amount or nature). 3.3 "Does this person need a specific treatment?" (NO → none carried out; YES → His Majesty clearly explains meaning, conditions, and asks for consent). No decision is taken out of whim or personal interest.
4. Donations (offerings). When God and the Ancestors request a donation: given before any consultation or treatment; a spiritual act (offering/participation); non-refundable, even if the person changes their mind. May vary by region, country, situation; it is not a fixed "price" set by His Majesty; it is indicated by God and the Ancestors in prayer. God and the Ancestors may also request a free consultation, refuse that a person be received, or allow support without treatment or donation. The person is always free to come or not, to accept or refuse, but His Majesty cannot go against what God and the Ancestors indicate.
5. Purification washing: a specific treatment. 5.1 When/why: proposed when God and the Ancestors show that certain burdens/presences are strongly attached to the body, that some blockages will not leave through words or prayer alone, that a strong symbolic act is needed. Not automatic, not a "standard service"; case by case only. 5.2 What it involves: a clean bucket of water, one or several jujubes per the indication of God and the Ancestors (sacred working plant), a sacred plant (e.g. Tree of Peace), the prayer of the person and the prayer of His Majesty. His Majesty does not touch the body directly; he uses only the plant to lightly strike, symbolically sweep the surface of the skin, while calling for liberation. The person remains active before God: they speak, pray, hand over their burdens, engage their will.
6. Why nudity is sometimes necessary. In certain deep spiritual practices it is understood that clothing can retain or hide certain energies, that burdens can attach where fabric covers the body, that some presences flee the authority of the Ta'a Kounga and move to places protected by clothing. For the work to be complete, the body must be accessible to the plant and the prayer; nothing should allow the burden to "take refuge" in a fold of fabric. That is why, in this specific ritual, the person must be completely nude; only the plant and the water touch the skin; no attack on modesty is allowed; everything is done with the greatest respect, with no sexual intention, no ambiguity. However: if the person is not comfortable, the washing is not done. No one is ever forced. Either it is done properly, or it is not done.
7. Conditions of the place and after-ritual. A clean, respectful and enclosed space, without outside eyes, in full respect of dignity. After the ritual, avoid returning to the washing space for at least 3 days (spiritual rest).
8. Free and informed consent. By signing or confirming in writing, the person acknowledges: (1) the consultation is a dialogue with God and the Ancestors, not magic, and decisions depend on spiritual discernment; (2) the donation, if requested, is given before, non-refundable, and does not "buy" a result; (3) concerning washing: they understand what it implies, that nudity is requested for specific spiritual reasons, that they can refuse, and that if they refuse the washing will not be done; (4) His Majesty does not guarantee a "magical" result but commits to doing his part faithfully before God.
9. Non-substitution clause. The spiritual consultation and any rituals do not replace medical follow-up, psychological follow-up, or any legal/social procedures. The person remains free and responsible to consult a doctor, a psychologist, or the relevant authorities.
10. Validation. I, the undersigned: ✅ acknowledge I have read and understood this document; ✅ acknowledge I act freely, without coercion; ✅ accept or refuse, knowingly, what will be proposed to me.
